Description

Festool plunge-cut saws have been setting the standard for saws for decades. The TS 60 K is redefining this yet again. In the blink of an eye, the unique KickbackStop protects your workpiece and minimises the risk of injury. Perfectly coordinated with the entire Festool saw system and with a cutting depth of 60 mm.

The most versatile saw of its kind guarantees you premium work results. Of course, this is also the case for mitre cuts and solid worktops.

The TS 60 K now offers the unrivalled opportunity to combine it with the cross-cutting guide rail. In just a few steps, this produces a portable and easy-to-use compound mitre saw system for accurate angle cutting.

Thanks to the latest-generation brushless EC-TEC motor, the compact plunge-cut saw is extremely robust and powerful. It saws like a hot knife through butter, combining precision, flexibility and the highest cutting quality – whilst also offering enhanced safety. The TS 60 K: Worlds apart.

  • Safer: The unique KickbackStop reduces the risk of injury caused by kickback during sawing or plunge-cutting into the workpiece
  • Dive deeper: Greater cutting depth, at the same size and weight as the TS 55 F
  • Versatile: Option to combine with the tried-and-tested guide rails and now with the FSK cross-cutting guide rails too
  • Constant: EC-TEC motor in combination with the thin kerf saw blades ensures work progresses quickly whilst requiring less effort
  • Precise: Simple, precise and repeatable mitre cuts can be achieved by setting mitre angles from -1° to 47°
  • Convenient: The FastFix spindle stop and sophisticated design make it extremely easy to change the saw blade
  • Best orientation: A transparent sliding viewing window provides a good view of the saw blade

  • Manufacturing expansion joints in parquet flooring and false joints

For more information on saw blades, applications, and compatible tools, see our guide to saw blades and how to get perfect cutting results.

Enhanced safety thanks to the unique KickbackStop

The integrated KickbackStop reduces the risk of injury and damage to the workpiece caused by kickback during sawing or plunge-cutting into the workpiece. Once the saw has been triggered, it is ready for use straight away without replacements or additional costs.

Greater cutting depth

The plunge-cut saw enables precise cuts at cutting depths of up to 60 mm in a compact design. The TS 60 K offers a greater cutting depth, at the same size and weight as the TS 55 F. Even for mitre cuts of 45°, materials of up to 40 mm can be cut with the guide rail.

Cross cuts reimagined

The TS 60 K plunge-cut saw can also be combined with the FSK cross-cutting guide rail, for a portable system enabling quick and accurate cross cuts to be made. Together with the tried-and-tested guide rails, the TS 60 K can offer maximum flexibility of use.

Constant high cutting power

The brushless EC-TEC motor makes the TS 60 K virtually maintenance-free and extremely powerful. In combination with the thin kerf saw blades, the high-speed 6800 rpm brushless EC-TEC motor ensures work progresses quickly whilst requiring less effort.

Exact cuts, even at an angle

The cutting edge from 90° to 47° remains unchanged even when the saw swivels. The result is precise, every time. Thanks to the metal swivelling segment, the required mitre angle of -1° to 47° can be easily and precisely set from the front, ensuring repeat accuracy.

Easier saw blade changing

The FastFix spindle stop makes it extremely easy to change the saw blade. The compact, sophisticated design means the saw can be set down on its side, which simplifies changing of the saw blade. Thanks to the form-fit connection, nothing gets caught in the clamping flange during saw blade replacement either.

Best orientation for plunge cuts

The transparent sliding viewing window and the additional markings for the starting and end point, now also on the right, provide a good view of the saw blade.

Exact depth setting

The improved accuracy of the cutting depth setting, with a dual indicator and fine adjustment guarantees exact setting. Improved handling and parallax-free reading come as standard.

Healthy working with a system

The Festool dust extraction system is well designed, right down to the smallest detail. Improved extraction with the Cleantec system sleeve and a viewing window which can be lowered make virtually dust-free working a reality.

Perfect cuts reduce the need for reworking

With the clip-on splinter guard in combination with the guide rail, it is even possible to saw on both sides without virtually any splinters.

Precise working with a system

Easy to read and adjust: The dual cutting depth scale for working with or without a guide rail. Now even easier thanks to extra-large font and precision adjustment.

Maximum flexibility

The slimline housing allows users to make cuts up to the edges and in close proximity to the wall (12 mm).

More options thanks to control electronics

Our fitted control electronics enable temperature monitoring, a quick-acting brake and speed control for optimum adaptation to the material.

Flexible use by switching off the KickbackStop

The KickbackStop can be manually deactivated, for example when working without a guide rail on uneven material. The advantage: The KickbackStop is automatically reactivated the next time the saw is switched on.

Insurance - Covering Loss/Damage In Transit

  • All freight companies used by Hammer Roo are general carriers and therefore do not cover damage or loss of goods in transit. Hammer Roo offers a simple insurance option, that is calculated at 2% of the value of goods (starting at $0.75), your order will be insured against damage and/or loss in transit.
  • We offer insurance on our website as an Opt-Out option for orders up to $5000 in value. In other words, it is automatically included. The only way it cannot be included is if you specifically untick the Insurance checkbox. This is your tacit agreement that you choose not to insure the goods and are taking risk with any issues that arise during the shipment of your order once it leaves Hammer Roo.
  • If you do not accept the insurance charge, you will do so at your own risk and any damage and/or loss is your responsibility. In all cases, we HIGHLY recommend the optional protection of insurance.

  • Lost In Transit from point of dispatch to point of delivery

Optional Insurance Will Not Cover:

  • Items stolen from delivery address after carrier has successfully delivered the package.
  • Items labeled as Authority To Leave

Authority To Leave

  • If you want to have your order left at your address even if you are not home you can request Authority To Leave in the order notes during check out. If you request this option;
    • You are accepting responsibility for delivery of the item once it leaves the warehouse.
    • We assume a delivery has been made if the courier reports that the item has been delivered.
    • Non-delivery/Theft claims by customers will not be accepted if the carrier confirms delivery has been made even if optional insurance is purchased.

Tailgate Drop Fees

  • Any single product carton that weighs over 30kg must be shipped on a skid or pallet.
  • If a product is over 30kg you can:
    • Pick it up from the closest courier depot. Please advise us that you would like to choose this option, and when it arrives at the courier's depot they will be in touch to advise you it is ready for pick up. They will also set out any terms and conditions for the pick-up. It will be loaded via forklift so having an appropriate vehicle or trailer to allow this to happen is your requirement.
    • Pay a tailgate drop fee. This will mean that the truck arriving to deliver the goods will have a hydraulic tailgate that will safely set the skid on the ground with a manual pallet truck to move the skid to a reasonable position on the property so that it is deemed to be safely delivered. Tailgate drop fees vary based on carrier (usually $65-$90), please contact us for an accurate quote.
  • If your consignment fits the above criteria we will contact you prior to dispatch to confirm your preferred method and collect the tailgate drop fee if you choose that option for your delivery.

Manual Handling Surcharge (Overlength/Oversized Items)

  • Any item once packaged that measures over 1.2m, weighs over 30kg or cannot pass through automatic freight sortation machines and must be handled manually by freight companies.
  • For items 1.2 - 1.8m long there is a surcharge of $16.50 and for items 1.8m and longer there is a surcharge of $83.50 charged by the freight company to manually handle this freight.
  • Hammer Roo passes this charge on at cost. If you choose the In Store Pickup option there is no extra charge on your order for handling these items.

Return To Sender

  • If an unsuccessful attempt is made to deliver a parcel or parcel is uncollected within the carriers specified time-frame & the carrier returns the parcel to sender the customer will be responsible for re-delivery & return to sender charges.
